You May Not Like The Answer But I Didn't Dodge The Question
Seidman for Mayor Campaign Update
Sixteenth update to my mailing list about the progress and goals for my campaign.
Neighbor-
Early voting began 6/12 and as candidates make their final effort to get out the vote it seems like they are finally starting to show their faces. As a part of that effort some are even fielding questions but the fellow candidates who I've run into on the street rarely seem interested in answering these questions. It's frustrating when the people who are vying to be our leaders, the people who are supposed to be the smartest, most charismatic, best speakers, and most politically involved, won't even answer the most basic questions. Whether in debates, press conferences, interviews with journalists, or just straight up speeches that rarely seem to say much of anything, the art of politics appears to be a balancing act between rallying the base without committing to much at all. Even if you have reservations about voting for me, hopefully you can at least respect the transparency on my website, the time made available on my Calendly [link now defunt], or the weekly Speakers' Corners in neighborhoods around the city enough to consider ranking me.
I am using the results on June 22nd to determine how successful this campaign to decentralize power was. You have to write me in but it's better than letting one more election go by without speaking out against corruption in government. Catch me tomorrow in front of Absolute Bagels 10am-5pm among many other events this week and the latest in the series decentralize.
In decentralized power,
